The colour with the highest lightfastness rating, semi-transparent, is relatively easy to wash off from paper. It has a pronounced granulation effect and a beautiful deep rich colour due to the grey-green particles of Cobalt Titanate Green framed by a bright blue halo of Phthalocyanine Blue pigment particles. The colour gives picturesque shade transitions from noble grey-green to rich and sonorous blue, creating depth of space in the painting. The colour works well in mixtures with almost all colours in the palette, producing clean, complex complementary shades. Great for painting landscapes, especially seascapes. The colour is also in demand in painting greenery, bouquets of flowers, draperies in still lifes, quick sketches or abstract fills.
